Shaunie Henderson—wife, mother, entrepreneur, producer, and creator of the hit TV show Basketball Wives—opens up about finding love, offers advice for raising strong, smart, grounded Black children in today’s world, and reveals how to define your career and personal life by your own terms in this inspirational memoir.
Today, Shaunie Henderson is a force to be reckoned with—a TV personality, producer of multiple hit reality shows, entrepreneur, philanthropist, mother of five children, First Lady of her husband’s church, and role model. But before she found her voice and her purpose, she was one more young woman trying to find her way as a partner, a parent, and a person.
In Undefeated, Henderson opens up about the struggles, heartbreaks, losses, and triumphs that have made her who she is today—stories that will inspire you to rise up, discover your strength and self-love, and be who you are meant to be. With her relatable and straightforward voice, Undefeated is so much more than a memoir—it is a stirring guidebook that is perfect for anyone “seeking inspiration to change their life trajectories” (Kirkus Reviews).

A good read
This book can help other women understand that there’s life after divorce and you can balance work and family. I’m glad she shared some insight on basketball wives as well.
Amazing!!
One of the best books I’ve read thus far. I’ve never watched any of Shaunie’s realty shows. So I was a bit skeptical when purchasing it because I thought it was going to be something similar to a realty tv show. A book full of drama.
Boy was I wrong! I appreciate the genuine undertone in her voice, in how she explained her life. I loved it!!! I felt like I we were sitting down with her having a conversation. It takes art to bring the reader into your life.
Just an amazing book!
I’ll save you the money…
She’s not a gold digger. Shaq cheated. She’s independent, an entrepreneur, but a devoted mother above all else. She’s a boss and a new age First Lady. Keyon is the best thing smokin’. The end. The portrayal felt very carefully curated and lacked depth.
